Dagoba est un groupe de metal français formé en 1997 à Marseille. Le groupe est actuellement composé de Shawter (chant / guitares / machine), Richard « Ritch DM » De Mello (guitare), Kawa Koshigero (basse) et Theo (batterie).
Dagoba joue un style de Metal industriel avec des influences de Death Metal mélodique et de Groove Metal.
Le mercredi 10 avril 2024, Dagoba a sorti le clip illustrant le single Cerberus, sorti quant à lui vendredi 5. Ce titre est extrait de l’album Different Breed prévu pour le 14 juin 2024 et dont il est la piste 10.
Le cerbère, le chien des enfers, est une créature tricéphale de la mythologie grecque.
Dagoba en dit :
« Tricephalic creature guarding the entrance from whence one does not return.
It prevents the dead from escaping the lair of the one who governs all wars, as well as the living from coming to retrieve their dead.
Yet, he cherished his animal state, for it kept him away from the mediocrity of men. Multiple heads are practical when a single one often only allows us to see the world as it truly isn’t.
