Formé à Paris en 2017, le quartette ODC, porté par la chanteuse Célia Do, s’est rapidement imposé sur la scène Metal alternative française par son mélange de riffs massifs, textures électroniques et refrains accrocheurs. Après un EP et plusieurs singles, le groupe signe chez BLKII BLK/Frontiers. Aujourd’hui, la formation réunit Célia Do (chant / fondatrice), Sonny (alias MX MNK) à la basse, Raphaël à la guitare 8 cordes et Hector à la batterie.
Ce lundi 15 septembre 2025, lors d’une première YouTube à 21 heures, le groupe ODC a sorti le clip illustrant le single Twisted Love. Ce titre donne son nom à son premier album attendu pour le 31 octobre prochain.
Twisted Love dépeint une relation à la fois charnelle et destructrice, où désir et chaos s’entremêlent. Entre imagerie apocalyptique, métaphores chimiques et pulsions sensuelles, le texte explore l’idée d’un amour toxique, urgent et viscéral, oscillant entre extase et autodestruction — à l’image d’une passion brûlante mais vouée à consumer ceux qui s’y abandonnent.
Côté son, on retrouve sur ce morceau des riffs lourds, des couplets agressifs contrastant avec des refrains entêtants. ODC navigue avec le single Twisted Love entre Metalcore et Nu-Metal, avec une touche un peu industrielle, pimentée de rythmes drum’n’bass qui insufflent une énergie nouvelle au genre.
